The In The Sun Table Lamp from DCW editions is a captivating battery-powered fixture perfectly positioned to brighten up its surroundings and set guests at ease.
Designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost working in concert, it sets a gathered screen of a mesh, their signature material, around a simple glass shade in a rayed-sun arrangement inspired by the Sun King himself.
This same mesh accentuates the illumination at the French National Library and pairs with the glass diffuser to ease excess brightness from the powerful LED lamping to a gentler ambiance.
