Light as a complement to sound. That's the idea that initiated Karim Rashid's design of the Nafir Pendant by AXO Light. It was further inspired by Rashid's fascination with morphing flat surfaces into fluid 3D shapes.
The Nafir meets both inspirations with a lengthy trumpet-shaped shade (similar to the North African nafir trumpet) made out of ABS plastic.
A glossy White finish (either monochromatic or contrasting with external Chrome or internal Gold) enhances the smooth lines.
